Wound Awareness Week 2023 resources find a new home
Wednesday, 3 January 2024
In September 2023, Wound Awareness Week saw thousands of people organise morning teas, read stories of real people living with a hard-to-heal wound or show their support on social media. Thank you! Your support, which grows every year, helps us keep chronic wounds in the national conversation and work towards improved wound care for more Australians.

And we couldn't do it without the generosity of our industry partners: Smith+Nephew, Mölnlycke and 3M. As part of their support, they shared a range of educational and informative resources designed to help care professionals upskill and stay informed.

With another Wound Awareness Week on the horizon (2–8 September) and a brand new theme being revealed in coming weeks, it will soon be time to give the woundaware.org website a fresh new look for another exciting year. But we didn't want to lose the fantastic content our partners kindly compiled.

Great news! You can now find their resources right here on the Wounds Australia website, simply by following the links below.

Thanks to our excellent industry partners for their ongoing support of Wound Awareness Week, and to everyone who committed to improving their wound care knowledge and practice in pursuit of better wound care for more people. We hope you enjoy this incredible content.
