DVA care program evaluation seeks healthcare professionals
Wednesday, 13 March 2024
The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) has commissioned an independent evaluation of the Coordinated Veterans’ Care (CVC) Program and is seeking contributions from interested health care professionals.

The CVC Program aims to provide high quality care for DVA clients with chronic conditions and the evaluation will assess its benefits, including clinical outcomes and wellbeing impacts, across the domains of appropriateness, efficacy and cost-effectiveness.

Evaluators Abt Associates are conducting one-hour interviews with healthcare professionals working with DVA clients enrolled in the CVC Program, but are also interested in engaging with healthcare professionals working with DVA clients who would be eligible but who do not claim services under this program. Interviews must take place before submissions close on 3 April 2024.

Your insights into the delivery of multidisciplinary care, best practice patient-centred care approaches, program eligibility and uptake, and more, will inform evaluation findings, including potential program adjustments aimed at better supporting high quality care for DVA clients with chronic conditions.
