Brief Course Synopsis: HEMI Wound Management Courses are well recognised for their innovative educational approach to the management of wounds and tissue repair. A range of courses set out to improve wound care by exploring the pathophysiology of wound and tissue repair, determining the principles of wound healing, examining the latest techniques in wound healing and tissue repair, expanding knowledge of wound pharmaceuticals, dressings and bandages.
Some courses also provide upskilling in wound debridement, biopsy techniques and suturing. All courses are conducted in a collegiate environment where discussion and mutual support is emphasized and the attendee is encouraged to actively participate in the interactions to ensure maximum benefit at an individual level.
HEMI courses target nurses with experience in wound management, wound specialist nurses, nurse educators, nurse practitioners, podiatrists and other health professionals involved in wound management.

Brief Course Synopsis: The Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Nurse Forum is a bespoke educational program that further develops the knowledge, values, skills, networking and practice of the advanced practice nurse (APN) as defined in the ANMC competency standards for Nurse Practitioners. The Forum also assigns a portion of the program to professional nursing issues of relevance to senior practicing nurse clinicians.
Attending the Forum will provide the practitioner with over 16 contact hours of professional development.
