Whether you are a health professional, student, or just have a keen interest in wound care - our events are for you. We run a range of different events throughout the year that are hosted by leading wound specialists from all over Australia. We offer both face-to-face events across Australia and webinars you can access through the internet.

Our events are open to both non-members and members of Wounds Australia, although members do receive a generous discount. When attending our events, individuals also attain continued professional development hours which are awarded after the event has taken place and registration has been confirmed.

Wound Awareness Week 2019 - Let's Talk About Wounds


Wound Awareness Week is raising awareness of chronic wounds across Australia.  This year’s theme “Let’s Talk About Wounds” encourages people to start a conversation with their health professionals about hard to heal wounds. It is important that the community at large can identify the wound warning signs (pain, fluid, smell, over 30 days to heal), know who is most at risk from chronic wounds, and what action to take if they have a wound that won’t heal.

Stepladders To Success - Victorian State Conference

Attendees to this 1.5 day conference will leave with skills to support patients and clients through their wound journey through assessment and motivation, aspects of dermatology, vascular assessment and intervention, plastic and general surgery, nutritional and oedema considerations, achieving success in pressure injury management, burns and palliative/oncological issues. The overall goal is to encourage participants to ask questions and get involved— it is our aim to provide delegates with new skill sets to help them climb the ladder of success.
