Judith Barker, Nurse Practitioner at ACT Health will present the clinical update based on the recent publication on Aseptic Technique in Wound Dressing Procedure.
This publication is a resource for clinicians and service providers on wound dressing practice, policy and procedure to aid in preventing infection. It covers wound
cleansing, storage of wound products, the use and management of open-but-unused dressing products, cleaning and environmental aspects.
There will also be a panel discussion on Wound Challenge Case Studies by Alicia Spacek (CNC Community Nursing), Cassie Luke (RN Community Nursing),
Anne Wilson (APN for Plastics).
